My Experience

I am a Licensed Counselor-in-Training in the state of Wisconsin. This simply means I am in the final phase of licensure, gaining supervised clinical hours after graduate school.

What does this mean for you?
You receive high-quality, professional care at a lower cost, with the added benefit of thoughtful collaboration behind the scenes. I work under the supervision of a highly experienced licensed professional counselor, which allows me to consult, gain additional perspective, and ensure you’re receiving the best care possible.

I bring over a year of hands-on, one-on-one experience with clients, along with up-to-date training in evidence-based approaches and the most current developments in the field. My work is grounded, compassionate, and informed by both real-world experience and expert guidance, so you don’t walk this journey alone.

Get to know Megan:

Whether you are navigating big emotions, working through life changes, or simply seeking growth, I am here to walk alongside you. I work with individuals ages 4 and up and am passionate about supporting people as they discover their strengths and build resilience. I believe in gently guiding clients to pause and reflect, notice their inner world, and develop healthy coping skills so they can feel grounded and more confident navigating life’s ups and downs.

I have experience supporting clients with family relationship concerns, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, grief, and stress management. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space where you can show up as you are and explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment.

I earned my master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. My therapeutic style integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT), and person-centered counseling, while weaving in mindfulness practices that encourage presence, self-compassion, and curiosity. I emphasize authenticity, relationships, the power of sharing your story, and the process of self-discovery.

Outside of my work, I find joy in spending time with my family, dogs, cat, and crested gecko, as well as recharging by connecting with nature.
